I am seeing a very disturbing trend these past few months. Rather than do the work they should be doing, listing agents are treating the entire short sale process as a kind of “Black Box”, delegating the negotiations with the lender to a negotiations firm, treating the negotiation firm’s advice as if it were handed down from on high, and expecting buyers (and their agents) to blindly follow along in profound indifference to the buyer’s interest. Sadly, they’re getting a lot of cooperation fr
